haha! Great photo! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning. :)Looks like they've been playing hide and seek and the Queen's just found David hiding behind that huge pillar! Caption would be "Found you!!!"Good grief! I didn't recognise David Bailey at first. Thanks for posting. 🙂
Ooooh, that's a good one! I hadn't noticed that, but you're right.You're very welcome 🙂
I am so terrible at captions. I'm just going to sit here and snigger quietly to myself.
Bailey looks terrified! My efforts: "Delighted to meet you Mr Bailey. Who's your tailor?"or"Is that a camera in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?"
Should have gone to Hardy Amies
Hey Miss Peelpants, I thought you'd like this flickr group of 1960s London. There are lots of "everyday" people wearing their mod clothes. The Ultra Swank blog/site has them posted, as well.http://www.flickr.com/groups/1214156@N24/
Queen thought bubble 'Keep smiling and walk past that man in case he says come on ducky, pout, push those breasts out'.
Maybe he's incontinent, and just and a little accident?!I'm terrible at captions too.Maybe something like "Christ,I hope that's not going to splill over the tops of my shoes?I'll juat stand still, maybe she won't notice the puddle"
Caption: As the Queen entered the room, Bailey panicked and tried to hide the joint behind his back."Ooh, is that marijuana I can smell?" said Her Majesty. "Come now, David, don't bogart that spliff!"
All very good! I particularly like"Is that a camera in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?"The old, pervy ones are the best! ;)And yes, he does look utterly terrified. Or bemused. I think Bailey only has one facial expression these days and THAT is it. So I'm not sure which emotion he was registering….
