A couple of brilliant German adverts for the Twiggy clothing range. I love that Ban-Lon is ‘Bani-Lon’, but Crimplene is hideous Crimplene in any language…
Both are from Bravo, May and October 1968 respectively.

Me too. There are different levels, I find. There's a particular type which feels, to my fingers, like nails down a blackboard would to my ears.I believe my first ever Ossie Clark piece was in Crimplene (licensed Radley gear but Ossie-labelled crimplene nonetheless) so it can't be all bad. 😉
I won't hear a word said about Crimplene, bloody great stuff! xxx

Don't get me wrong, I love polyester. I think I must just have crimplene issues….. but that's just me.
