I’m not a particular fan of Britt Ekland for the most part, but I am rather fond of this autumnal shoot she did for Vogue (by Patrick ‘Yeah Baby’ Lichfield). It’s so rare to have such a lovely feeling of space in fashion photos. You’re looking at the frocks, no doubt about it, but you’re also taking in the atmosphere of the location. The clothes are perfectly dreamy and her hair is completely and utterly covetable, in each and every shot. I worship this crimping.

Stunning photography and hair! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful images. This shows perfectly why Lord Lichfield was top of his game. Fabulous, and so evocative of the era. 🙂
Beautifully British! Nothing beats good old country style mixed with curiously creative design – and superb photography.
Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!!
these are soo beautiful, I never tire of this look.
I'm loving the hair!
I really adore these photos. That dress with insanely long collar- must get it! Who is it by?I think I also need her hairstylist, while I'm at it.
Which issue of Vogue is this – I know it's 1970? Gotta know for record purposes…! Daniel
Daniel, it's the one with Charlotte Rampling on the front – September 1970
