Sadly, I have no choice. I was not blessed with luxuriant, Audrey Hepburn-style eyebrows. Mine have always been sparse, so I have to choose my eyebrow heroines with this in mind. I rarely go to such extremes as shown here, but I do have to tame the few stragglers and pencil them in a bit. It’s a bit strange to have such thick dark hair on your head, then have the eyebrows of a mousey-person. Sigh.

Beautiful images and so much glamour!I have to pencil my brows since plucking themsuper thin in the 90's when thin was in. Now I want them thicker but they won't grow.

Great pictures and inspiration as usual! I'd trade my (so other people say) perfectly shaped eyebrows for freckles and Twiggy eyes, no problem. I'm really keen on trying the spiderlashes from the girl in green. Thanks for sharing 🙂

These eyebrows are way too thin for me, I mean it looks beautiful but it looks so fake. As for me I like the more natural look.

Retro Chick – get a lash and brow dye kit! Its fairly easy to do yourself (although you won't want to answer the doorbell with gloopy Groucho Marx comedy eyebrows) and takes about ten minutes. My eyebrows are more Brooke Shields than Marlene, and I'm actually glad I never gave into the temptation to pluck them. That said, Myrna Loy and Claudette Colbert look divine – ok, they all do but those two are personal favourites of mine.
