It was indeed a year of ‘slippery’ dresses… My sis & I took our mum to the fabric store & we each picked out our shiny stretchy fabrics. Mum, who is a wonderful sewer, made me a jumpsuit out of shiny stretchy royal blue with a pale blue middle, & a gorgeous drapey mini cranberry dress for my sis..
