Clip taken from a German documentary, London aktuell, from 1970. Someone has overlaid some very groovy music onto an incredible, surreal clip of models and mannequins in Ossie Clark gear. Le swoon…
It is long since sold, but I used to have the ‘Harlequin’ dress…

Ooh, you can't possibly have too much Ossie on film! What a terrific find! Those dresses look particularly lovely whipping around in that stiff breeze too.
Although one of the girls is ruining Ossie's ideal of NO UNDERWEAR with his frocks by clearly wearing pants AND tights….tsk tsk. But what else can you do when you're modelling at a heliport?
Great clip! what wonderful fashions – clothes are so unexciting these days. Thank you for posting this, I enjoyed it, odd soundtrack and all.
I tried on that tiered peasant-y dress once. Looked terrible on me!
Stop it, this Ossie fest is too much. He will always be a king to me. My eldest daughter has put her claim on my Ossie :0)In fact I bought a dress of you from ebay, 2004. I still wear it lots, in fact I wore it to a dinner party last weekend. A Horrocks maxi dress. A beauty it is
Oh my goodness that is an amazing clip, the music is fab too! The dresses look so beautiful and oooh that coat, WANT!
Well, if she wasn't wearing pants and tights, it would have been very much Pussy Galore, and the film would likely NEVER have seen the light of day…!
