Another uncredited image from David Bond’s book. Well, at least it actually states Biba this time (although it wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to work that one out). This is my dream world. Biba clothes. Dried flowers and feathers. Curls. Sequins. Headscarves…. Suffice it to say, I would like to dive in head first.

Ooooh I've never seen this shot before. Love love love it! The chiffon sleeves are truly wonderful….
This is exquisite! I really wish I could curl my hair and pull of this look better- it is so dreamy.
Those dried flowers are so 70s – I'm thinking of reviving that teal, mustard and burgundy combo!
I fecking love Biba!!!
Bit of Biba geek info on this photo. The evening dress with the chiffon over jacket (model in background) was never made for the general public. It was part of a short-lived venture in couture which Barbara/Biba embarked on in 1969. A fellow Biba collector owns the one in the photo….lucky so-and-so!Hippie Longstocking
