Swirly skirt in lilac suede from Patti Searle. Cotton t-shirt in pale pink by Sun and Sand. Tan leather boots by Mary Graeme. Photographed at the Renaissance monastery La Cartuja, outside Jerez, which still houses monks of the Carthusian order.
One of my favourite looks; one I return to again, and again, in the winter time.
Photographed by Francois Lamy.

your blog has been one of my faves for years, thank you. interested to know why this outfit is a liked “in the winter”. i like it too, tightish top and full skirt with a tight waist. long boots. reminds me of my primary school teachers in the 70’s.
*nipped waist. my fashion lingo/jargon is not on par with yours 🙂
I think I just meant because of the boots/midi skirt/jersey top combination. Although I wear long sleeve tops instead. I think it was mainly the boots, to be honest (although my beloved burgundy suede western boots have finally just given up the ghost, so this look is on the backburner until I can replace them!).
Sorry, I also meant to say, thank you! 🙂
