Scholl sandals were the most comfortable and light footwear and I lived in them in the 1970’s.
They went with everything. The only thing was that they were only available in a couple of colours. I had a red pair and a cream pair. They went with me everywhere and never wore out!
I also wore real clogs…..also very comfortable. Even now, I only wear sandals, nearly all year around, all other shoes seem unnatural to me!
