Ok, I officially love whoever is doing these weird music/fashion video crossovers, all seemingly taken from London Aktuell.
Mary Quant (in her best period, IMVHO, of the early Seventies), Biba and Mr Freedom (I love the shots actually outside the shop! Insanely groovy.). Lushness…..
And lastly, fashion by Laura. Whoever that might be. Love the red coat towards the end though….
Oh my goodness*, I am in fashion and music heaven….
*I cannot use the abbreviation ‘OMG’ any more. Not since I found myself scanning a book in a strange Brighton bookshop which used it as an abbreviation for ‘Oversized Male Genitalia’. Hilarious but impossible to put out of my head now….

Where can I buy this film!!! I don't know which clip I love the best, ok the Biba one, actually no gotta be the Mr Freedom one, eeeek I can't decide!. Seriously tho, I'd kill for one of those Mr Freedom t shirt dresses.
Ah, the 60s… So much fun. Great find!
What fun! These are all great – the girls running up and down in their Mr Freedom hotpants with bibs really made me chuckle!
I love the Laura dresses! The printed one reminds me a lot of an Annacat jacket you had a while ago. I half-wonder whether it might be an early incarnation of Laura Phillips before they became Kati's hosting label, but I don't think it is. The films are all absolutely fantastic – and Mary Quant was definitely at her most original in the early 70s.
I think the Mr Freedom one is probably the best FILM, although I can't choose between all the clothes – I would love any of them. I just love those gals in front of the shop, nice to see contemporary footage of it.I did wonder that about Laura Phillips, but I've seen LP labels sans Kati before – definitely Sixties stuff. Hmmmm….
My mum has the Mary Quant long hooded dress with black, green and white skyscraper scene…Amazing!!!! LOVE them all, esp the Mr. Freedom one! Thanks for posting! x
