A stunning set of images by Caroline Arber of the gorgeous Edina Ronay. The photographs are actually for a men’s accessories editorial, so there are no credits for the clothes. I am making an educated guess that the garments in the first two are Thea Porter because my Thea Porter gypsy dress is exactly the same print.

THIS is how I remember the 70’s – bat wing whicker chairs, gypsy style dresses, soft focus lighting & tanned blondes! As a young homo (born 1970), my life revolved around looking at my mothers clothing catalogues (grattan/empire stores, etc), imagining myself twirling around in diaphanous twirly skirts, pretending to be Purdy from The New Avengers (and boy, did she she wear a mean Laura Ashley!), then I butched up a little and abandoned Purdy for Princess Leia! Innocent times…
PS, the model I mistook for Amanda Lear!
