I read ur blog on David Silverman recently & was so glad to see it…..I was his designer from 1967-70 & he was truly a guy long before his time…..he was the first in London to champion the French skinny cut that Sonia Rykiel at Laura & Emmanuel Khanh were doing in Paris…..he was a joy to work with & he always got the look before most in London & would allow totally creativity in everything I did……
I truly still mourn his early death …& believe he would still be a “hip ahead guy” today in his 70’s had he lived.
