I’dv never realised Ossie designed knitwear too. I always think of him as working in woven cloths or fine jersey.
Yes, there was a brief period of Ossie knitwear but it was so brief there’s not much that pops up. I have a sexy cut-out shoulder jumper (which is the same as one at the Fashion and Textile Museum exhibition at the moment) and there’s a flared sleeved and belted one which pops up every so often.
I think Alice Pollock was more successful with knits than Ossie.
