I posted an alternate version of this, many years ago, but this one shows you far more of the amazing collaged wall behind the gloriously jumbled dressing table.

£1.25 will get you the sexiest suspender belt and seamed stocking
Suspenders and seamed stockings. Now there’s a thought to bring a sparkle to your eye and an extra dimension to your legs. We’re offering black suspender belts and black stockings or white suspender belts with grey stockings-equal loveliness either way.
The suspender belts are elastic, backed with plush nylon (so they’re comfortable) and covered in nylon lace (so they’re beautiful). The seamed stockings are one-size 20 denier micro mesh crepe stretch nylon. They’re smashing, and so is the price—£1.25 for the suspender belt and stockings together. You can also order two pairs of extra stockings in packs of either black or grey for a mere 55p. In these expensive, doomy days that’s really an offer to make you smile.

Sam finds this silk perfect for his luminous, sultry colours, which he uses in 15 variations. Superb advert for the MG Midget, photographed in front of The Great Gear Market at 85 Kings Road. Some of the best photos of boutiques have popped up, inadvertently, in adverts. From my archive there is Che Guevara in an Opel advert and Quorum for cigarettes.

more of it, less of it, what there is of it, frilled.
Preview of new white shapes you’ll be seeing when the sun’s hot: all cut out, cropped or split, beginning with flamenco frills piped in with red.
Well, it may not be May any more but this editorial feels perfect for the current weather. And those Manolo Blahnik for Zapata shoes? Pass the smelling salts…

What every Cosmo girl needs right now is another T-shirt. T-shirts are a way of life and you can’t have too many . . . which is why this month’s super cool offer is not one but two T-shirt styles. The snappy button-through vest top is all yours for only £1-50, left . . . or the flowered long-sleeved T-shirt, right, just £2.20. Take your pick from bright green, pale blue or brown for the vest . . . the colours are guaranteed to make the most of your tan. The long-sleeved top is prettily flowered on a white or red or black background. Smart girls will want both T-shirts. Naturally you can wash the cotton jersey like a hankie.
